Counseling/Student Services Office (Room 402)
Make your first stop the Counseling Office when you visit Simi Valley Adult School and Career Institute. The Simi Valley Adult School and Career Institute Counseling Office provides class information and guidance in all aspects of academic studies and vocational training at the adult school. Appointments are not necessary.

Disabled Individuals
The adult school accommodates individuals with disabilities. Forty-eight hour advance notice is required to meet special needs or for public meetings. If special accommodations are required for school attendance, call 805.579.6200, Ext. 1618 for more information.

 

Student Store (Room 601)
The student store carries various books and supplies for selected classes. Vending machines are available during Student Store hours. When the Student Store is closed, vending machines are available on the main quad. All major credit cards are accepted for purchases of $3 or more. Pre-printed personal checks are accepted (except for those classes indicating cash payment only) but MUST be accompanied by a California drivers license and a current address. There is a $35 service charge on all returned checks. All sales, including books and supplies are final. No Refunds. Student Store hours are as follows:
Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
Friday – 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

 

Business Office (Room 301)
When the Business Office is closed, registration and lab fees are paid in the Student Store (room 601). Visa and MasterCard may be used for payments of $10 or more unless payment requires cash only. Personal checks are accepted for some classes but MUST be accompanied by a valid California drivers license and current address. There is a $35 service charge on all returned checks.

Continuous Enrollment Classes
To help students meet their goals, many adult school classes are open entry, which means students may enter these classes at any time during the school year. Please note: when an open entry class reaches full student capacity, students may have to be placed on a waiting list.
